Earlier today, Alexis Malavolta – Bruno Guimaraes’ agent – posted photos on social media of him in Paris, leaving some Newcastle United fans fearing the worst following Bruno’s previous links to PSG.
The player’s representative was in the French capital earlier this month to watch PSG take on Rennes in Ligue 1, but he’s rubbished suggestions he’s gone back to discuss a potential transfer for his client.
Addressing these suggestions on Friday morning, Malavolta insisted that Bruno is ‘very happy in Newcastle’ and that his trip to Paris is for ‘private and family reasons’, not for work, urging fans not to ‘make up stories.’
In a message to Newcastle fans on Twitter/X, he said: ‘Good morning. I would like to point out that I am in Paris for private and family reasons and not for work. please respect and don’t make up stories. Bruno is very happy in Newcastle. THANKS!’
A reassuring message from Bruno’s agent, playing down any fears on social media and reminding all the Brazilian is loving life on Tyneside.
