The battle for 6th, can we catch Spurs, battering Burnley & Brighton preview – New podcast!

The NUFC Blogcast is back for another week, as me and Ed looks back at Saturday’s battering of Burnley, debate the race for Europe and preview this weekend’s clash with Brighton (Listen here or press play the play button below)

We start by reviewing what turned out to be a superb Saturday for Newcastle United, giving our thoughts on the win, performance and long list of positives to take away from Turf Moor, featuring Howe’s tactical tweak, Lewis Hall and the return of three key players.
Me and Ed then look at the battle for 6th between Newcastle, Chelsea and Man Utd; who face a tough trip to Crystal Palace on Monday night. We also discuss whether Newcastle really can catch Spurs in 5th, considering the four-point gap and both of our remaining fixtures.
I then run through seven incredible stats that have emerged since the 4-1 win, run through this week’s Poll of the Week and your Twitter questions before.
To end, we preview Saturday’s final home of the season against Brighton, sharing our impressive home form since the turn of the year, the Seagulls’ dismal run on the road, the latest injury news and our predicted XI before ending with FYI Man!
