Chelsea 0-2 Newcastle - Match highlights

Match highlights (well, goal highlights anyway) of the 2-0 victory over Chelsea last night, featuring two stunning strikes from Papiss Demba Cisse.

Have you seen a better brace of goals this season? I know I haven't. People are quite rightly gushing over the second, but for me the first one was the most impressive of the two. To tee it up like that with one foot and hit the ball with the other, before it's even touched the ground, giving Petr Cech no chance of saving it was something special.

It was a great result, a fantastic and unexpected result that now leaves us with a strong chance of finishing fifth and leaves us in a position to capitalise on any mistakes Tottenham or Arsenal may make in the run in, providing we keep looking after ourselves of course!

Plaudits should be handed out after that performance. They restored the pride after Wigan, and then some. I'm just left wondering who will get the credit for it as it seems the players get the acclaim when we win, yet the manager takes the blame when we lose. That's how it seems to me anyway.
