Game On! Newcastle v Leeds
Game on at SJP! Newcastle take on Leeds at St James' Park this evening with progression to the next round of the Capital One Cup on the agenda.
On paper Newcastle will be favourites to overturn Championship side Leeds United, but we were favourites on Saturday and have been numerous times against so-called "weaker" opposition in cup matches in recent years and quite often we've come out second best.
With Alan Pardew promising a strong side ahead of the game I'm hopeful that we can avoid such a scenario again but this is Newcastle United and you can never be sure if we're going to turn up or not. Turning up would actually be a start and would give fans something to get behind and in my opinion we're going to need more than one goal to win it in conventional time although I'm half expecting extra time and penalties to decide it.
The match preview is online and has been all day so if you haven't already done so then please make your way to the previous article and have a look at a history of the fixture, some stats and facts and injury news for both sides.
Once again we're not on the TV here in the UK but we are being broadcast overseas so chances of picking up a stream are high. Normal rules apply so if you happen to find a decent stream then please post a link to it in the 'comments' section below.
