Today’s round up of all NUFC related transfer talk:
- The Mirror claim Newcastle are battling it out with West Ham for the signing of Brentford star Jota - the Spanish playmaker who got 12 goals and 5 assists in just 21 games last season.
- Mike Ashley has admitted in an interview on Sky Sports News that it's impossible to give Rafa Benitez enough money to compete with the biggest clubs.
- Benfica are willing to pay approximately €5m for up-for-sale goalkeeper Tim Krul (A Bola).
- FL Wolfsburg centre midfielder Joshua Guilavogui is being courted by courted by Newcastle and has a £13.7m price tag according to German reports [BILD].
- Deportivo's coach has admitted 'We can’t afford €12m for Lucas Perez', giving NUFC fresh hope of signing the Arsenal striker this summer.
