Steve McClaren in line for shock return to English management - and their fans are not happy at all!
Just a month after taking on a job at Maccabi Tel Aviv, Steve McClaren could be set for a quicker return to English management than many expected, with the former NUFC boss being lined up to take over at Birmingham City - a move their supporters are far from happy about!
After picking up just four points in his first 8 games, former Birmingham boss Harry Redknapp was sacked last week and the bookies have since slashed McClaren's odds on taking over at St. Andrews.
It's looking more and more likely that the ex-England boss will be handed yet another chance in English football - a potentially controversial appointment, made all the more odd given he's only been in a job at Maccabi Tel Aviv little over a month!
McClaren was been sacked by fellow Championship side Derby County for the second time in less than two years in March and was largely responsible for our relegation from the Premier League in 2015/16 and since the news of his potential appointment broke, Birmingham fans have taken to Twitter to vent their anger over the potential arrival:

Some amusing and rather angry responses here and we don't blame them given his recent record!
