NUFC outcast announces exit with heartfelt goodbye on social media
Newcastle United defender Jesus Gamez has confirmed on social media that he will be leaving this summer after just two years on Tyneside - thanking everyone involved at NUFC for a 'beautiful experience' on Tyneside.
The Spaniard arrived on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid in 2016, however he's made just 10 appearances in all competitions over the last two seasons - playing 7 times during our Championship campaign and appearing just 3 times last season.
He's out of contract this summer and has not been handed a new deal and has posted this goodbye message to all involved at NUFC to confirm his departure from the club:

I can't he did much on the pitch, but he has always come across as a good character and an experienced bloke who would've been good to have behind the scenes over the past two years.
His 10 games don't quite do his signing justice, but I shall miss his pre-match motivation posts on social media each time he's absolutely nowhere to be seen in Rafa's matchday squads!
