TWO clubs register interest in signing Jamaal Lascelles & Florian Lejeune this summer - Reports
According to reports from England and Spain this morning, Everton are preparing a £30m offer for Jamaal Lascelles, whilst Sevilla have identified centre-back partner Florian Lejeune as a summer target.
Starting with Lascelles and The Sun claim that new Everton boss Marco Silva is keen to “capitalise on the uncertainty” surrounding Benitez’s long-term future on Tyneside with a big money bid for Jamaal Lascelles.
Firstly, this is The Sun (although I'd like to bet Everton are interested), and secondly, it's been made quite clear by Benitez and the skipper himself that Newcastle United is the best place for him right now.
I don't envisage him leaving unless a ridiculous bid from a top four club arrives for him this summer.

Then to Lejeune, and it seems Sevilla have been impressed the Frenchman's debut season in England, with Estadio Deportivo claiming that they're planning to bring him back to Spain this summer.
Sevilla's new boss, Pablo Machín, managed him during his brief spell at Girona, so that combined with his form in recent seasons makes sense of their interest, however I don't see why he'd leave - and think Rafa will have absolutely no intention of letting him go.
He's been outstanding in his first season in the Premier League and may only get better. Keeping him and Lascelles at the club this summer is vital, and I can't say I'm particularly worried that either will leave.
