Chelsea reporter reveals the 'clause' that will be inserted into Kenedy's deal at NUFC
According to Simon Johnson – Chelsea’s reporter for the Evening Standard – there IS a clause that's been included in Kenedy's loan deal which will allow us to sign the Brazilian on a permanent deal next summer.
This comes as a huge relief, meaning we WILL have the option to sign the 22-year-old on a permanent deal once his season-long loan deal expires this time next season.
With Kenedy on his way to Tyneside and all set to complete a medical on Tuesday, here's what Chelsea reporter Simon Johnson has had to say on the deal - confirming the clause in the loan deal which looks set to make the move permanent next summer:

This is great news and a deal that should suit us down to the ground, securing his services for another season in a way that won't eat into this summer's budget too much.
To have him back for the season is a huge boost as it is, but to find out that we WILL have the option to sign him permanently next summer is the cherry on top.
Brilliant stuff. I can't wait to see him back playing in the black and white shirt next season!
