Mike Ashley involved in 'row' with club chiefs - More proof he's not fit to own a football club
Mike Ashley is causing bother once again in the world of football, with the NUFC owner now involved in yet another merchandise deal row with Rangers chiefs - just three months after they were told by a High Court judge to 'make peace'.
The blame may lie with both parties here, but this is yet another example of the continual problems that come with Mike Ashley.
It's not going too well for him at the moment. Us fans are on his back with protests only getting started, his Sports Direct shares are plummeting and there's now yet another dispute he's involved in at Rangers.
Ashley is accusing Rangers of a ‘breach of contract’, with him not being happy that the club are looking to work with a ‘third party’ after they agreed to sell their replica shirts at Sports Direct.
So, in short, Mike is worried that a competitor may be stealing in ahead of him and threatening how much money he can make from Rangers.
More proof that Ashley is only interested in money – with him clearly not phased about upsetting a club if it supports his agenda.
