After scoring his second hat-trick of the month for the U-23's this week, Newcastle United have put together a compilation of all 12 of Elias Sorensen's goals so far this season.

He's the top scorer in the Premier League 2 and his form has raised quite a few eye brows on Tyneside, with many calling for Benitez to hand him a chance at first-team level after our struggle for goals.

Here's all twelve of his goals so far this season - starting with his goal against Sunderland earlier in the season and ending with his hat-trick during our 5-2 mauling of Aston Vill on Monday:

Given how much we're struggling for goals, I can see why people feel he may be worth a try, but it may still be a big risk to bring such a young player into the mix at this stage.

A spot on the bench at Southampton has been demanded by some fans, but I can only see him being used in the FA Cup for now.

Either way, it's brilliant to see one of our youngsters excelling at U-23 level. If he's not going to be used this season, he certainly looks like one for the future!
