You can't blame NUFC fans for getting carried away given the total lack of hope regarding news signings this month - and Lukaku would be the the attacking left back that Benitez wants, even though we again are forced to delve into the loan market.

We still await official confirmation from the club and the definitive 'holding of the scalf picture' but if we can get this done, it would be welcome breakthrough in the transfer market. Benitez will rightly want more and if we can sign Almiron for a record fee, things may finally be turning.
Knowing Ashley though, we'll be more likely to sign Patisserie Valerie than Miguel Almiron before next Thursday's deadline!
