Super-Computer predicts final 2019/20 Premier League table - Interesting results..
Sporting Index have predicted the point totals each Premier League side will end with ahead of the 2019/20 season - and their results are very interesting.
They have Newcastle to NARROWLY miss out on relegation in 17th place, having Brighton (18th), Norwich (19th) and Sheffield United (20th) as the three to go down.
The firm have predicted the final standings based on who their traders are betting on, and, looking at the table below, there's not that much of it I disagree with.
Here's their final prediction, with them not only predicting all 20 clubs' final position but their likely points total too:
- Man City
- Liverpool
- Tottenham
- Arsenal
- Man Utd
- Chelsea
- Everton
- Leicester
- Wolves
- West Ham
- Crystal Palace
- Southampton
- Watford
- Bournemouth
- Burnley
- Aston Villa
- Newcastle
- Brighton
- Norwich
- Sheffield United
In fairness, I actually agree with a lot of this, although I think Palace are a little high and Watford are too low.
I expect Norwich and Sheffield United to go down, with both signing few quality players, while Brighton are very much an unknown quantity after Graham Potter's arrival - not to mention the fact they've not signed well and may lose Lewis Dunk to Leicester.
Sadly, I would probably bite your hand off for 17th, with Rafa, Rondon and Perez's exit coupled with Steve Bruce's arrival (and the lack of signings to date) making me fear the worst.
How do you see the 2019/20 season panning out as things stand?
