Disgraceful Mike Ashley exposed once again as yet another Premier League club shows him up
With the news that Sheffield United are to refund their season ticket holders the games they can't see behind closed doors, guess who's the last club in the Premier League still not to do it?
Surprise, surprise, your guess was correct!
Now whether this is affected by all this takeover talk or not, the fact is that it's disgraceful that the hierarchy still in charge of Wor Club can hold out on this. As Mark Douglas has said in his tweet this is just not right.
Add in that so many of the staff are still been furloughed and you wonder how much longer we can take this tyrannical regime There are concerns over the Saudi's human rights records. What about our owners record and the way he treats his staff? Surely this cannot go on and even they can see they must do the right thing?
I think, eventually they will but once again NUFC are the laughing stock of The Premier League as they fail to act in the best interests of the lifeblood of the club, the supporters! Even if the current owners are holding back on everything until this whole drawn-out saga is concluded they are still in the wrong.
A return of the money would not be a small gesture it would be the right and proper thing to do. But when has that ever worried our owners? There are vast column inches reverberating around every media outlet and source on our situation.
Some have even stopped reading some of it whilst others have no idea what's going on. I've even read that some just want a decision one way or another and to have this whole thing settled. Surely not? Surely people can't want the decision to go the wrong way and subject us to more suffering and inhumanity at the hands of the present regime.
Look, I get it. Things are very, very, very complicated with the takeover. BUT it would be a very, very simple thing to do the right thing and refund the money that is rightfully our loyal supporters'.
