Takeover revolt grows as four ex-NUFC stars join forces & petition passes 55,000 mark
Former Newcastle United stars are now starting to get behind the petition to investigate the Premier League over their abysmal handling of the takeover.
The movement is starting to gain significant traction, with over 56,000 now pledging their allegiance to the cause at the time of writing and signing the petition.
Now former players Tino Asprilla, Rob Lee, Robbie Elliot and Malcom Macdonald have urged their followers to support the campaign to help us find some answers.
Amanda Staveley said following the breakdown of the takeover that it was up to us as supporters to try and reignite the deal, and the petition passing the entire capacity of St James’ Park came on a night where the NUFC Trust revealed they have had contact with the PCP partners businesswoman.
You can add your name to the petition here, as well as join the NUFC Trust - the only Newcastle supporters trust recognised by the Premier League - for a small fee of £2.
