If you were annoyed by our display in Saturday night's 2-0 defeat at Aston Villa, you better brace yourself for Steve Bruce's quite incredible post-match comments.
According to the shameless Newcastle United head coach, there were "large parts" of the performance he was "pleased about", stating he was "encouraged" by our display at Villa Park.

HOW can he take positives from that? OK, it was nice to see Saint-Maximin back out there, but we'll need much more than a Saint to save this Steve Bruce side that look absolutely doomed as things stand.
