Outrageous video emerges to make mockery of NUFC's new kit supplier - "Castore or Gucci?!"

by Jonny Dawson ·

After the dull and generic kits provided to us by Puma, over the years, there was a fair amount of excitement that we were going to have a kit manufacturer who actually considered the club.

After all, every thing we received from Puma seemed like a hand-me-down from another club.

Hopes that Castore would create a new dawn of kits were dashed when “four gate” became apparent and, despite a decent away kit, they have done nothing since to alleviate issues.

The latest issue to arise from Castore is the realisation of what it would cost to actually purchase Newcastle apparel.

No-one will need reminding that we have been in an 18 month pandemic recently, meaning that many people have lost their jobs and have faced poverty. We have volunteers around the ground, collecting for the food bank so that the less fortunate can simply survive.

Whilst all these things are very much part of supporters lives, the club shop attempts to sell hoodies for £165!

Take a look at this video below after a NUFC fan went into the club shop - now run by Castore themselves:

This is a callous and disgusting attempt to squeeze money out of dedicated fans.

Obviously, businesses exist to make money but to attempt to manipulate our love for football like this is despicable.
