Jamie Reuben makes new vow to NUFC fans after attending first game at St James' Park

Fresh from his first game at St James' Park, Newcastle United board member Jamie Reuben has sent a heartening message to Toon fans following Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Spurs.

The 34-year-old admits it was "not the result we wanted", but has thanked the Toon Army for the "special reception" and "amazing support for the team", vowing to 'build' and 'come back stronger' after we made it eight games without a win this season.

Jamie also sent his thoughts to the man who suffered a heart attack in the East Stand just moments before half-time, wishing the unwell supporter a speedy recovery.

Thankfully, he is believed to be in a stable condition after being responsive in the RVI hospital soon after the game finished at St James' Park.
