Confirmed NUFC team vs Burnley - TWO changes as Almiron, Lewis and Lascelles all start

Following our 1-1 draw with Norwich City in midweek, Newcastle United take on Burnley in what really does feel like a must-win game at St James' Park.

The team news has arrived ahead of the 3pm kick off, seeing us line up as follows:

STARTING 11: Dubravka – Manquillo, Lascelles, Schar, Lewis – Shelvey, Willock - Joelinton, Almiron, Saint-Maximin – Wilson (c).

SUBS: Darlow, Ritchie, Hayden, Hendrick, Krafth, Fernandez, Murphy, Gayle, Longstaff.

So, Eddie Howe has made TWO changes from Tuesday night, seeing Jamaal Lascelles and Miguel Almiron replace the suspended Ciaran Clark and absent Ryan Fraser - who is missing from the squad entirely.

Elsewhere, Federico Fernandez remains on the bench - despite impressing in midweek - while Matt Ritchie is back (in the squad) after a ban.

Paul Dummett and Elliot Anderson both miss out through injury, with the former still thought to be a few weeks away - despite being spotted back on the grass in yesterday's training photos.
