Premier League playmaker considering offers from Newcastle, Everton & Leicester - The Times
According to The Times, Newcastle United remain in the running to sign Christian Eriksen.
They report that the Danish playmaker is 'considering offers' from Newcastle, Everton and Leicester, despite the fact Manchester United and Brentford have been heavily linked with a bargain move for the 30-year-old.
Eriksen is available on a free transfer and has a host of options available to him. Some suggest he is keen to remain in London or secure Champions League football if he is to leave the capital, yet others report that he will consider all offers - providing he'll handed guaranteed game time.
Both The Guardian and talkSPORT claim that he's rejected a move to Old Trafford, while Fabrizio Romano reckons Tottenham are moving to other targets, suggesting ourselves, Everton and Leicester aren't out of the race.
We released an exclusive earlier this month, revealing that the Dane was due to hold face-to-face talks with Eddie Howe.
Given the quality and experience he could offer both on and off the pitch, it would be a real coup for the club if we convince him to sign - especially on a free transfer!
