Sky Sports: NUFC star now 'likely' to return vs Bournemouth but key duo set to miss out
This morning, Eddie Howe was extremely tight-lipped when asked if Bruno Guimaraes, Allan Saint-Maximin or Callum Wilson would be fit to return against Bournemouth.
After attending his press conference, Sky Sports' Keith Downie has issued an update of his own on the star trio, revealing some potentially good - and bad - news.
The North-East correspondent is 'hearing' that Bruno Guimaraes looks 'likely' to be involved in tomorrow's game, suggesting he's overcome a hamstring issue picked up in last month's Carabao Cup win.
On the flip side, he reports that Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson are 'set to miss out again', with The Mail Craig Hope also releasing the same information following this morning's pre-match press conference.
A real shame, as ASM could've had a field day against a leaky Bournemouth side, not to mention the fact Wilson would've loved to play against his former club - and with that boosted his England hopes with a few goals. However, perhaps it's best not to risk either ahead of the international break, as we should still have enough to beat the Cherries in Alexander Isak, Miguel Almiron and Ryan Fraser.
