Confirmed Newcastle team to face Bournemouth - Bruno STARTS as Howe makes two changes

The team sheets are out ahead of today’s 3pm kick off at St James’ Park, seeing us take on newly promoted Bournemouth in our fourth home game of the new season.

Without further ado, here’s the side Eddie Howe has gone with against the his former club:

STARTING XI: Pope - Trippier, Schar, Burn, Targett - Willock, Guimaraes, Joelinton - Almiron, Isak, Fraser.

SUBS: Karius, Botman, Lascelles, Lewis, Manquillo, S Longstaff, Ritchie, Murphy, Wood.

Howe has made TWO changes from the side that drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace two weeks ago, seeing Bruno Guimaraes and Dan Burn come in for Sean Longstaff and Sven Botman.

Loris Karius is named on the bench following his arrival on a free transfer earlier this week, but there's no Elliot Anderson - who misses out with a knock.

As expected, Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson are missing from the matchday squad, with this one coming a little too soon for the pair following hamstring injuries.

Elsewhere, Emil Krafth (ACL), Jonjo Shelvey (hamstring) and Karl Darlow (ankle) all miss out with longer term injuries.
