Newcastle United's Ryan Fraser played a key role in Scotland's 3-0 win over Ukraine in the UEFA Nations League last night.

Following his first call-up in almost a year, the winger made a huge impact from the bench during the final 14 minutes of the match at Hampden Park, delivering two late assists as Lyndon Dykes headed home his crosses not once but twice.

Steve Clarke's side actually leapfrogged the visitors to take the lead in Group E following their crucial win on Wednesday night. Remain top and Ryan Fraser's Scotland guarantee a play-off spot for Euro 2024, with this also having the potential to boost their World Cup 2026 hopes.

Fraser may have done enough to start Scotland's second Nations League match of the international break, which is a crunch clash with Ireland on Tuesday.
