Castore slated on social media as surprise new kit leaves Newcastle fans baffled - Photo
Newcastle's kit provider Castore have launched yet another new shirt to mark our 130th anniversary today - but the design hasn't gone down well at all on Tyneside.
Castore have claimed that the strip was released to commemorate and 'pay homage' to all of the club legends who have come and gone throughout those 130 years.
The announcement has been met with a lot of criticism on social media, with some supporters labelling the kit as a 'monstrosity' and calling Castore the 'worst manufacturer' we've had; leading to the disabling of comments on their Instagram reveal.
The brand have already been criticised by Newcastle fans in the past for delays in deliveries, with others also unhappy with the quality of the shirts upon arrival.
Here's official photos of the kit; which will set you back a minimum of £65 based on club shop prices!
This is now our fifth kit of the season after a special edition featuring the Newcastle skyline was also released earlier in the season for our clash against Brighton at the Amex stadium.
