Bookies release Newcastle odds for top four, top six and top 10 finish after 1-0 win vs Everton

by Olly Hawkins ·

After another big win last night, the bookies seem adamant Newcastle United will seal a top 10 finish this year, with us priced at 1/12 to end the 2022/23 season inside the top half.

Our 1-0 victory over Everton was our third win in the last four games and fifth clean sheet of the season, keeping us sixth in the table on 18 points and just one of three sides - alongside Man City and Arsenal - to have only lost once so far.

With us currently in the European places, everyone on Tyneside is desperate to see us keep the run going - and the bookies seem to think it's between ourselves and Man United for that sixth spot, pricing us at 13/8 for a top six finish and 15/2 for an unlikely surge into the top four.

One thing's for sure, the bookmakers clearly believe we're the best of the rest outside the 'big six' and well clear of the likes of Brighton, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Everton, suggesting 7th - which could get us into the Europa Conference League - is well within our grasp.

Here's the current odds for the top four, top six and top 10, followed by the current Premier League standings ahead of tonight's games involving Fulham, Aston Villa, Leicester and Leeds:
