Richard Keys makes ridiculous suggestion to NUFC's owners after 2-1 win at Spurs - Video

Richard Keys is at it again.

After witnessing our 2-1 win over Spurs on Sunday, he came forward with a frankly ridiculously suggestion on beIN Sport, suggesting that our new owners should build a new training ground closer to London in a bid to attract bigger names.

As you the video below shows, fellow pundits Jason McAteer and Andy Gray look baffled by Keys' proposal, yet the former Sky Sports host goes on, claiming players and families could have more privacy and 'enjoy the fruits of a capital city', stating they could get 'so much more' in London.

He talks down the facilities outside of London, but forgets that star players like Kieran Trippier, Bruno Guimaraes and Sven Botman have had no issues moving to the North East in recent months. The latter opted for Tyneside over Milan and Bruno snubbed a move to Arsenal to sign at St James' Park.

Watch the utter nonsense below:

Keys would also be wise to remember that not every footballer longs for a vast city centre with grand shops and restaurants, with the coastline and beaches on offer something many stuck in the capital wish they had on their doorstep!
