Speaking on Sky Sports, Jamie Carragher praised our midfield 'star' Bruno Guimaraes and the 'fantastic coaching job' that Eddie Howe has done as he analyses Newcastle's impressive start to the season.

The former Liverpool captain revealed he has been impressed by the unity and togetherness of the squad who have bought into Eddie Howe's system rather than individual players themselves.

Carragher goes on to explain how a lot of the players, such as Dan Burn and Chris Wood, were signed to 'keep us in the league', but Howe is 'getting as much from his team as any other manager'.

On our improvements from Steve Bruce to now, the 44-year-old revealed the 'huge differences' in possession and number of turnovers since Bruce's first season. See the full clip below:

There is no doubt Howe has done an incredible job to turn this team completely around in such a short space of time even with the reinforcements he brought in in January and the summer.

The affect he is had on individuals who were already at the club such as Joelinton, Miguel Almiron and Fabian Schar just proves how much of a top class coach he is.
