Bruno Guimaraes issues incredible plea to NUFC fans – The nicest guy in Premier League football?

Not only is Bruno Guimaraes a brilliant footballer, he's clearly an absolute gem of a bloke.

After being nominated for October's Premier League Player of the Month award earlier today alongside Miguel Almiron and Kieran Trippier, he's urged Newcastle fans to vote for Miggy, not himself.

In an unprecedented message to Toon supporters on Twitter, Bruno said: "Very proud to be running for the best of the month again, but I wanted to ask you to vote from Miggy, even if me and @trippier2 are doing well, Miggy is living his dreams."

This says everything you need to know about the Brazilian, who clearly wants our in-form Paraguayan to pick up the award ahead of himself to rewards his six goals in six games last month.

His relationship with Newcastle fans, Eddie Howe and his fellow teammates has been a joy to watch over the past year. A player to be proud of and a true class act, both on and off the pitch!
