Journalist mocks Newcastle fans as Saudi Arabia stun Argentina at the World Cup - The irony...

Today we witnessed one of THE biggest upsets in World Cup history, as Saudi Arabia stunned Argentina in Qatar.

After going 1-0 down to a Lionel Messi spot-kick, the Saudis scored twice in the second half and held on to seal a shock win in the opening game of Group C.

They ended Argentina's 36-game unbeaten run and gave their nation a moment they'll never forget, yet a Chief Writer for The Mail took this as an opportunity to poke fun at Newcastle United fans.

Step forward, Oliver Holt, who claimed the Big Market must've been bouncing when Saudi Arabia took the lead.

I understand that serious questions will be asked about the human rights issue in that part of the world, but the sly digs at the club, the region and for some reason the fans are constant from this man - which is rather ironic when he's currently being paid to cover the World Cup in Qatar!
