Newcastle in talks over €15m deal for ‘one of the most promising talents in Europe’ - Report
According to reports in Spain, Newcastle United are showing serious interest in highly-rated Real Valladolid youngster Iván Fresneda.
Madrid based outlet AS claim that ourselves and Everton have already made early moves for the 18-year-old right-back midway through his breakthrough season in La Liga.
The report adds that we are currently talking to Valladolid about a possible deal in the region of €15m, aware of the fact a host of European sides are taking a close look at the teenager.
Fresneda has made seven appearances at senior level this season and also represents Spain at under-19 level, with AS revealing that he's considered ‘one of the most promising young talents in Europe’ at present.
Considering Newcastle have been backed to bring in a couple of future stars next month and heavily linked with a host of young right-backs, this latest transfer rumour could make plenty of sense.
