Player 'actively seeking' Newcastle United exit as club agree to sell for £7m - Report

Ryan Fraser is now actively seeking a January move away from Newcastle United, according to FootballTransfers.

The report claims that there is now a 'mutual agreement' between the player and club that he will be allowed to leave this month after growing frustrated by his lack of game time.

Newcastle are said to be holding out for £7m for the winger, who has instructed his agent to find him a move following interest from Southampton and Brentford.

Fraser hasn't started a Premier League game for the club since our 1-1 draw with Bournemouth and has missed out on Eddie Howe's matchday squad in three of our last four games.

FootballTransfers state that a loan move isn't out of the question, although all parties would prefer a permanent exit now he's slipped below Miguel Almiron, Allan Saint-Maximin and Jacob Murphy in the pecking order.

For everyone's sake, hopefully the Scot can be moved on this month, especially when his sale could create space for a signing of our own.
