Former Mag set to sign Toon talent and Man Utd midfielder back on Newcastle's radar - Report
The Mail's Craig Hope has issued two updates on the transfer front today, revealing that Joe White looks set to join Exeter City on loan.
The 20-year-old signed a new three-year deal in March and will spend the remainder of the 2022/23 season in League One, with former Mag Gary Caldwell currently in charge of the third tier club.
Eddie Howe is thought to be a big fan of White's and hopes he'll follow in Elliot Anderson's footsteps following his outstanding spell at Bristol Rovers this time last year.
Elsewhere, Hope has revealed that Newcastle remain interest in Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
It's thought he 'retains admirers' on Tyneside after interest was shown over the summer, however Erik ten Hag is currently unwilling to let him leave Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old hasn't started a Premier League game under the Dutchman since a 6-3 defeat at Man City in October, but has racked up 19 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.
