Toon target removes pictures on Twitter and agent joins NUFC star with two cryptic tweets

by Olly Hawkins ·

Newcastle United target Harrison Ashby has removed pictures of him in a West Ham shirt from his Twitter bio.

Earlier today, Sky Sports revealed that the Hammers had rejected our latest bid for the right-back, who is believed to be keen on a move to St James' Park after refusing to sign a new contract at the London Stadium.

A few hours later, we've noticed that the 21-year-old has now left his profile picture and cover photo blank on Twitter, ironically leaving his profile looking black and white. We're not reading too much into the latter - it's certainly ironic - but it makes you wonder if he's rebelling against his current club?

Interestingly, Bruno Guimaraes has also been posting some cryptic tweets alongside his agent on Friday afternoon.

The tell-tale eyes emoji (see below) followed by a smiley face hinted some form announcement could be imminent, especially when agent Alexis Malavolta followed with a sand timer.

See both posts below, with fans hoping the latter is a teaser before a new contract for Bruno is announced:
