Former Magpie Papiss Cisse scored an incredible hat-trick on Thursday night for Ligue 2 club Amiens, with his second giving flashbacks of the 2011-12 Premier League season.

Even at the age of 37, Cisse is still putting in quality performances and proving that he's still deadly in the box a decade on from his time on Tyneside.

The Senegalese forward began with a towering header before adding a second by taking the ball down with an incredible touch and firing it into the net.

Amiens would go on to win the game against Niort 3-1 helping to lift them up into sixth in the league with the ex-Toon star now their joint top scorer.

While it may not have ended exactly how everyone had hoped, Cisse will always be fondly remembered by everyone at Newcastle - particularly for some of his outstanding goals - and it's good to see him still enjoying his football in France after spells in China, Germany and Turkey.
