Newcastle's top four rivals dealt double blow as two Tottenham stars suffer long term injuries

Tottenham may have closed the gap to just one point last weekend, but they'll be without both Hugo Lloris and Yves Bissouma for the next few months.

Club captain Lloris is expected to miss eight weeks after sustaining a knee injury during Tottenham's 1-0 win over Manchester City.

He is set to be replaced by former Mag Fraser Forster, who has only managed one Premier League appearance for Spurs since arriving from Southampton last summer.

As for Bissouma, Sky Sports report that the former Brighton star will be sidelined for a 'significant amount of time' as he prepares to undergo surgery on his fractured left ankle on Friday.

Tottenham would go ahead of us if they beat Leicester in tomorrow's 3pm kick off at the King Power Stadium, although we will go into our Saturday night clash with Bournemouth with TWO games in hand on Antonio Conte's side.

Like Manchester United and Liverpool, they also face a hectic schedule over the coming month, with a two-legged Champions League last 16 clash with AC Milan to come along with five Premier League fixtures and a trip to Sheffield United in the FA Cup.
