Club officials spotted at SJP as European giants watch NUFC star in 2-0 win vs Man Utd - Report

Inter Milan had scouts at St James' Park on Sunday to watch Allan Saint-Maximin, according to The Mail.

They report that the Serie A giants are 'serious' about bringing the winger to the San Siro this summer and were left 'impressed' by his performance over the weekend, where he created a number of chances, tormented Diogo Dalot and set up our opener with a cushioned header across goal.

Saint-Maximin recently told Sky Sports that he is happy on Tyneside and keen to achieve his goals in a black and white, explaining how the club fought to keep him in January.

“I thought he gave a really good all-round performance on Sunday.

“He’s a natural dribbler, everyone knows that, but his decision making of when to dribble and when to pass was very good.

“He got an assist so the end product was there and defensively he was diligent, so I am delighted with him.”
