Alan Shearer names Newcastle United star in Premier League Team Of The Week

Alan Shearer has included Joelinton in his Premier League Team of The Week after the Brazilian enjoyed a great few days down in the capital for Newcastle.

Not only was he key to our 5-1 win at West Ham, scoring twice at the London Stadium, the big man played a vital role in our comeback victory over Brentford.

Joelinton put in a man of the match performance on Saturday afternoon after a difficult first half, helping change the game in that second 45 after dropping into a deeper midfield role.

Playing in more of a double pivot alongside Bruno, our £40m-man was strong on the ball, dominant in his duels, completed the most dribbles (three) as well as the most tackles (three) and was key to our equaliser, where his ball across the box was turned in by David Raya.
