Newcastle scouts spotted watching three players - One scored stunning brace in six-goal thriller

by Olly Hawkins ·

It looks like Newcastle United's recruitment team have been busy over the past few weeks, with scouts travelling around Europe to watch three highly-rated talents.

It's believed we had club representatives in Turkey on Monday night to watch Fenerbahce duo Arda Guler and Ferdi Kadioglu.

Guler - an 18-year-old sensation and attacking midfielder - scored twice in the 3-3 draw with Istanbulspor, while Kadioglu played the full 90 minutes from right-back.

This isn't the first time we've been linked with the Turkish pair, but The Mail have revealed a new name on our list in Hajduk Split wonderkid Luka Vuskovic.

They report that Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City have all sent scouts to check out the 16-year-old centre-back in the UEFA Youth League, with talent spotters all present in Switzerland to watch the 6ft 5' Croatian last Friday.

Vuskovic has already broken into Split's senior team and helped their U19s progress to the final of the UEFA Youth League last week, playing a key role in their 3-1 win over AC Milan.

Here's a few clips of them in action, featuring Guler's goal in front of Toon scouts and a clip of the Vuskovic in action last Friday:
