Man City could hijack Newcastle's move for £30m target - Report
As reported by Football Insider, Man City are working on a deal to sign Newcastle United target Kieran Tierney.
It's believed Eddie Howe has identified the Scotsman as a priority this summer as we look to add a more attacking left-back to our ranks.
However, Pep Guardiola is now eyeing up a similar move, targeting Tierney less than 12 months after he lost Oleksandr Zinchenko to the Gunners.
The 25-year-old has been playing backup to the Ukrainian this season and is looking for a move away to gain more regular playing time, with recent reports suggesting £30m may be enough to tempt Arsenal into a sale.
If he can stay injury free, the former Celtic man could be the perfect forward-thinking full-back for Newcastle United. It would be tough to compete Man City, but he may go from one back-up role to another if he left the Emirates for the Etihad?
Like James Maddison - who has also been linked with a possible move to City - we'll have to hope Guardiola ends up looking elsewhere.
