New signing names four reasons he'll appeal to Eddie Howe during impressive Feyenoord interview
Following his £6m move to Newcastle and immediate loan to Feyenoord, Gambian sensation Yankuba Minteh has been discussing his style of play - revealing a number of key traits that will appeal to Eddie Howe.
He's described himself as "very fast", "good with the ball" and able to contribute both offensively and defensively, adding that he's also keen to press; something Howe's high-intensity Mags have become known for. Perhaps this stood out during scouting trips and convinced Dan Ashworth to pursue a deal?
Speaking to Odense's official website, he revealed how delighted he is to join Newcastle, saying "every player dreams of playing in such a big league."
First, however, he'll head to the Netherlands, with the Dutch giants securing a season-long loan deal for the 18-year-old talent. Considering his age and lack of experience, it's an impressive move for the youngster to join the Eredivisie champions and Europa League quarter finalists.

Minteh on his permanent move to Newcastle:
"'I'm so happy to have this opportunity. Every player dreams of playing in such a big league.
"It comes on top of a fantastic year for me, where I started playing in the Under-19 League, and quickly came up and made my debut in the first team.
"It's been really cool to be here, and I have a whole lot I'd like to thank for making this possible."
Minteh on his loan move to Feyenoord:
""It's been a pleasure for me. It's a big club in Holland and I watched some of the games in the Europa League and Conference League.
“I look forward to playing for the reigning national champion… It’s an honour to wear the Feyenoord shirt. I am grateful for this opportunity and will do everything I can to improve as a footballer.”
"I'm very fast. I'm good with the ball also. I can do both offensive and defensive. I'm looking forward to seeing how the coach wants me to play. It's not a problem for me to press.
"I am young and Holland is a good starting place for young kids. I have seen a lot of young talents start here and then go to Europe's big five leagues."
