Sky Sports: Saudi giants submit £25.5m bid for former Newcastle star - Player pushing for move

It looks like another Premier League star could be on their way to the Saudi Pro League, as Sky Sports News have released some 'breaking news' on former Mag Aleksandar Mitrovic.

They report the Al-Hilal have launched a £25.5m bid for the Fulham strike - and it sounds like he's eager to make a lucrative move to the Middle East.

'Sources close to the player' have told Sky Sports that the 28-year-old wants to join the Saudi Pro League side - who happen to be 75% owned by the PIF - but it remains to be seen if Fulham will accept their offer.

It's thought Al-Hilal want to pair Mitrovic with fellow countryman Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who looks set to join Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly after they agreed a €40m with Lazio for the Serbian midfielder.

Mitrovic scored 14 goals in the Premier League goals for Fulham last season, helping Marco Silva's side to an impressive mid table finish. He scored 17 times in 72 appearances during his time on Tyneside and left for the Cottagers five years ago for a fee in the region of £22m.
