Newcastle release new training footage and £40m man's special welcome at USA hotel - Video
Newcastle have released footage of the players in training and Joelinton's arrival at the team hotel as we prepare for our first game of the Summer Series against Aston Villa on Monday.
Big Joe had to travel separately due to a delay receiving his visa, but the club have shared a wholesome clip of him greeting Eddie Howe and coaching staff, along with Sean Longstaff, Jacob Murphy and Dan Burn at the entrance.
As for the training footage (you can watch both clips below), the squad look to be getting on well over in the US. The lads are working in hot conditions and signing Sandro Tonali seems to have slotted in well.
Hopefully the Italian won’t be our only new signing to take part in our tour across the Atlantic, as Harvey Barnes and Tino Livramento could join the squad next week if and when both deals are completed.

It's clear to see how much big Joe is valued within the group, not just by the player's reaction but Eddie Howe's telling comment. "We've missed you", he said, after shaking the Brazilian's hand.
