Darren Eales posts brilliant photo on Twitter as CEO sends message to Newcastle fans

Newcastle United CEO Darren Eales has sent a brilliant message to Toon fans on Twitter following Sunday's Sela Cup victory at St James' Park.

The former Atlanta chief has posted a photo of him hugging the Sela Cup and Diriyah Season Cup - the trophy we won in Saudi Arabia last year - joking that we're the only club in history who've done that double!

Eales was treat to a great birthday at St James' Park, as Eddie Howe's Mags put four past Villarreal, with a Harvey Barnes brace and brilliant strikes from Joelinton and Jacob Murphy securing back-to-back wins on Tyneside.

This isn't the first time Eales has enjoyed a good laugh with Newcastle fans, as our CEO was spotted drinking with supporters and singing Toon chants just hours before the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.
