Jurgen Klopp at it again - Watch cheeky dig at Newcastle after Liverpool’s 1-1 draw at Chelsea
Jurgen Klopp has poked fun at Newcastle after claiming that the Magpies are the only club who will have a problem with the new rule change that allows only one coach in the technical area.
Following his side's 1-1 draw against Chelsea, the German was asked how he felt about the the decision to stop other coaches from entering the area, and it seems we left a lasting impression on him last season.
It has become a running joke amongst rival fans that Jason Tindall, Eddie Howe's assistant, enjoys the limelight a bit too much, but the pair have always been a duo and it is working perfectly for us.
We very clearly had no issues with the new rule on Saturday as we demolished a strong Aston Villa side 5-1, but it's good to see that Klopp just cannot stop thinking about us.
Given the lack of punishment for Mikel Arteta after his antics against Nottingham Forest, it really does feel like the rule was implemented almost purely for one team in particular.
When asked about the PL rule change, Klopp said: "It’s like that in the Champions League. I think it’s only a problem for one team...Newcastle. Sorry!" Watch his response below:
