Newcastle star facing suspension risk after three yellow cards in opening four games
Anthony Gordon is already two bookings away from a ban after picking up yellows in three of our opening four Premier League games.
Any Premier League player booked five times inside the first 19 league games will be suspended for one match, meaning the scouse winger can only afford one more yellow in our next 15 games.
Gordon was cautioned in the second half of our opening day win over Aston Villa and in the opening 25 minutes of recent defeats to Man City and Brighton for leaving late challenges.
Elsewhere, Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali have picked up two yellows so far, with Joelinton, Sven Botman, Fabian Schar, Kieran Trippier, Dan Burn, Matt Targett and Harvey Barnes all on one.
The five-yellow ban will be lifted after our 19th game - due to fall on Boxing Day - with a two-game ban then introduced for any player that accumulates 10 or more bookings double-figure before, and including, the 32nd game of the season.
