Spotted at SJP - Another exciting youngster pictured on Tyneside as Toon seal double deal

After Wolves talent Leo Shahar was pictured holding up a black and white shirt at St James' Park yesterday, yet another academy recruit has been spotted at St James' Park.

We released an exclusive back in July confirming that highly-rated winger Trevan Sanusi was closing in on a move to Newcastle United and it looks like he's now arrived.

As revealed by the Secret Scout, the skilful 16-year-old has been snapped doing media work at St James' on Thursday afternoon, joining fellow England youth international Leo Shahar on Tyneside.

Both represent England at U16 level and arrive after long-term pursuits, with the club making a host of additions this summer to bolster our academy; particularly at U16 and U18 level.

Sanusi rejected a contract offer at Birmingham City and attracted interest from the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, Spurs and Man City, but ultimately picked our exciting new project after what must've been an impressive sales pitch from Dan Ashworth.
