3 players in talks over new deals after Callum Wilson & Bruno Guimaraes agreements - Report

Earlier this month, Football Insider revealed that Newcastle United were about to open talks with Fabian Schar over a new deal at St James' Park.

A few weeks on, they report that Joelinton and Sean Longstaff are also in discussions with the club over well-deserved extensions.

Schar has entered the final 12 months of his current deal - which is due to expire at the end of the season - while Joelinton and Longstaff are contracted to the club until 2025.

Football Insider report that Eddie Howe remains determined to keep the spine of his squad together and rewards those who've played a big part in our superb rise from relegation contenders to top-four rivals over the past 18 months.

This comes after Callum Wilson signed a one-year extension a few weeks ago, with an agreement also thought to be in place for Bruno Guimaraes; who'll receive a hefty pay rise extend his deal until 2028.
