Bruno Guimaraes drops Newcastle hint on Sunday night - Big announcement imminent?

It looks like Newcastle United could be about to announce a new deal for Bruno Guimaraes.

Last week, Fabrizio Romano revealed that an agreement had been reached over an extension for the Brazilian, stating his new deal will run until June 2028.

A hefty pay rise was mentioned along with a rumoured release clause in excess of £100m, but we're yet to see any official announcement over a week on from Romano's 'exclusive.'

However, on Sunday night, Newcastle have tweeted a picture of the midfielder, where Bruno himself has responded with the tell-tale eyes emoji and black and white love hearts (see below).

It's clear that something is in the offing and could even be announced tonight. Time will tell, but it's been brilliant to see the former Lyon man back to his best over the past few games, where he's ran the show in wins against Sheffield United, Man City and Burnley.
