New St James' Park footage reveals stunning display ahead of Champions League clash vs PSG

Some stunning footage has been captured around St James' Park on Sunday night, showing some spectacular light displays ahead of our first home game in the Champions League for 20 years.

Last night, a host of videos and pictures were shared on social media, showing a projection of a Newcastle United kit created by hundreds of drones, followed by a "WE ARE BACK" message below.

Other fan-footage captured clips of a magpie, a giant Newcastle badge and the back of Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Kieran Trippier's shirts projected up in the sky above SJP. See them all below, with the club pulling out all the stops ahead of Wednesday's game:

Fans are wondering if this is a rehearsal for a display before kick-off on Wednesday night, but some have suggested that it may be a pre-recorded show that will be shown on TV broadcast only. Either way, it'll be one hell of an atmosphere when the UCL music belts out around St James' Park!
