Newcastle release 60-second clip from SJP as Sela produce stunning Champions League display
Sela - Newcastle United's front of shirt sponsors - have released official footage of their spectacular drone display above St James' Park.
After fans in the city posted photos and videos of the light shows spotted above the stadium on Sunday night, the Saudi events company have now released a 60-second clip, which celebrates the return of European football to Tyneside.
The incredible display is believed to involve several hundred drones, which have projected light into the skyline to create images of Newcastle's new kit, our iconic badge, a magpie flying and the shirts of Bruno Guimaraes, Kieran Trippier and Sandro Tonali.
Watch the official footage below, released ahead of our first Champions League home game with PSG on Wednesday night:
Newcastle confirmed that the display would be visible (from a distance) on Monday night. The stunning lights were available to see at 8pm last night, but adverse weather conditions stopped the second drone show from taking place at 9.45pm.
